The Municipality of Nilüfer and the Solidarity Association for the Physically Disabled aim to provide solutions to the problems of the disadvantageous groups living in Nilüfer with a mutually signed protocol.

Founded first by the Municipality of Nilüfer in Turkey, Bizim Ev (Our Home) Social Life Support Center for The Disabled continues to put their signatures under exemplary projects aimed at disadvantageous groups. The Municipality of Nilüfer, which aims to find solutions for the problems of disadvantageous groups in order to be a "City of Democracy, Equality and Conscious" and the Solidarity Association for the Physically Disabled, which put its signature under exemplary projects in Turkey mutually signed a protocol for providing the health, education and personal equipment needs of the people with disabilities living in Nilüfer.

Mustafa Bozbey, the Mayor of Nilüfer, Kemal Demirel, the General Director of the Solidarity Association for the Physically Disabled, Serdar Özkaleli and Neslihan Koçer Ersoyak from Okyanus Borusan Volunteers Platform, Bircan Uysal, Social Aid Affairs Manager of the Municipality of Nilüfer, and many other guests participated in the protocol ceremony held in order to meet the needs of disadvantageous groups living in Nilüfer.

Mustafa Bozbey, the Mayor of Nilüfer, stated that they are in pursuit of the happiness of all living beings living in Nilüfer with the principle of "First Human", and added, "We want to establish a livable city with better quality and support by sharing the problems of disadvantaged groups. Our most important goal is to improve their quality of life.”

"We will further develop our social service and support activities for the disadvantaged groups," Mustafa Bozbey said, adding that the protocol signed with the Solidarity Association for the Physically Disabled would increase the quality of life for the people living in Nilüfer.

Kemal Demirel, the Director of the Solidarity Association for the Physically Disabled, underlined that there are nearly 9 million people with disabilities in Turkey, and added that their aim is to serve a model for the world. “We will support people with disabilities living in Turkey” said Kemal Demirel stating that such people don’t actively take part in life.

During the ceremony of protocol signed for providing disadvantageous groups with health, education and personal equipment, Okyanus Borusan Volunteers Platform declared that they have undertaken the treatment of two disabled people living in Nilüfer.
